Events

We profoundly announce that ‘the Cultural Fest’ an initiative by the students of centre for Learning was a great success. It was a two day programme consisting of various cultural, academic and painting competitions. All the students participated wholeheartedly to prove the talent within them. The event was inaugurated by the School Principal along with the senior teachers of the institution. A panel of Judges were there to judge the events. The winners and all the participants were awarded with the certificates. We wish our students to come up with such wonderful ideas and presentations in future as well.

On the 14th of this month an educational trip to Bhopal and Sanchi was organised by the institution. Students from both the junior and senior section joined us. During the trip they learned, about the facts related to Sanchi and Bhopal. The trip was fun laden as well. All the students with the teachers enjoyed the trip very much. All in all it was a memorable one.

In the month of July 2018, Study Hall Educational Foundation has organized a Cultural Fest in which Center for Learning also participated with full preparation and vigour. Students worked very hard and with their power packed performance, they won the THIRD prize in the Elomime competition. They also bagged the fourth prize in senior group painting, junior group singing and in photography. A proud moment for us indeed.

The Study Hall Center for Learning organized its 4th Annual Art Competition on 14th April 2017, where around 350 students of various schools like CMS, LPS, Jaipuria, Police Modern School and many others across the city have participated. It was held grade wise where various topics related to social issues like Domestic Violence, Clean India Green India, Rio Olympic etc were allotted. The epitome of creativity and imagination was witnessed. Saad Khan of City Montessori School achieved 1st prize in senior category Arnav from Seth M.R Jaipuria and Harsh from Centre For Learning Owned 2nd prize, Naincy From Prerna Girls School achieved 3rd prize, Kamini from Vidyasthali and Navya from CMS won consolation prize. In Junior Category Amhad of Study Hall School Grabbed 1st Prize, Nivedita Singh Of Seth M.R Jaipuria and Aarav from Study Hall Won 2nd Prize Kushagra and Nandini From Study Hall received 3rd Prize and Naseema of Gyan Setu- Non Formal Education Centre received consolation prize respectively.

(The collage making competition on child marriage encouraged a larger number of students to participate in the activity. Cuttings from newspapers magazines and old books were employed in creative beautiful pieces that give a message too.)

(For Home Science practical’s, a grand Food Fest based on North Indian cuisines was organized on 29th Jan. 2017 by the management, teachers and the Home Science students of Study Hall Center for Learning at Study Hall . Here, the culinary delicacies of four states of Northern India viz. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal and Punjab were prepared and presented by the students. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Urvashi Sahni, founder President and CEO of Study Hall Educational Foundation, accompanied by the heads of the various divisions of SHEF. The event and the effort and dedication of all was highly appreciated and applauded by all, including parents. Dr. Sahni reflected that such events are helpful in developing vocational skills in students and help them to successfully achieve their future endeavors, she said that more events of such nature should be organized to showcase the talents of the students .)

(Study Hall organized the art and craft exhibition “ Art With Heart”, held from the 27th of February to 3rd of March. Centre for Learning participated in the same with an amazing piece of installation art comprising of various art forms from across our nation. In addition to this, beautiful pieces of designer jewelry made by our very own students were showcased.)

On 19th August a Hasya Kavi Sammelan was held in the premises of Study Hall Center for Learning where many students from class 8th to 12th participated. All the participants very successfully put their point forth through sarcasm where they discussed many social, political and educational evils existed in our society in a hilarious way. The programme was big hit and w all one looking forward for enjoying more such. Events. Well Done Student!!!

Annual Orientation program of Study hall Center for Learning was held on 14th July 17, where parents of all the classes of the institution participated enthusiastically. The session was addressed by Dr. Urvashi Sahni (President and CEO of SHEF) and Dr. Pratima Srivastava (Principal CFL) where they shared the complete vision, ethos and working of the institution as well as about the authenticity of the NIOS. Success stories of all the students were shared proudly by the institute and parents. We thank all the parents for being there and make the event successful.

On 17th August an extented celebration programme was held in the premises of Study Hall Center for Learning where Independence Day was celebrated by delivering speeches and reciting poems on freedom where the need and aspiration of freedom in all aspects of nature, self and country was very well discused and described. English and Hindi devotional song were also an integral part of the celebration. Jai Hind
